Down the Mekong

The Mekong river flows slowly, its waters are calm but in its depths they are full of strength.

Life by the river is tranquil and connected to nature.

The people of the river watch the boats go by, with its travelers, merchandise. For them the Mekong is a never ending tale which continues every day.

In Luang Prabang, tourists, monks and villagers create an exotic mix, surprising after the calmness and solitude along the riverside.

Buddhist spirituality is everywhere, mixed with the noise and frenzy of the city.
